I liked this one XD silver_antlers May 27 2009, 21:05:14 UTC
Toughest journal I've ever read

Welcome to the 'Sphere Tybalt. Sorry nobody's said hi as of yet. And believe me, this place gets pretty exciting when you're not expecting it. Tybalt and Juliet sound strangely familiar, weird.

What does ∞ mean?

I try, honey, I try ;P catwouldbeking May 27 2009, 22:03:07 UTC
2 reiterate, it's ending up fine by me. Still seems like an odd way 2 treat a newcomer.

I should hope so...

∞ = "infinity."

((arrow drawn to second set of strikes)) Caught that. I guess you're not able 2 tell me why, though, from the sound of that. Apparently Iris got a rise out of our names. He called us something along the lines of a dawn princess + prince of cats 4 some reason.

I don't know why but it sounds familiar, but not too strongly I suppose. Maybe I'm just imagining things.

Do you just write like that or do you talk in short hand too?

Ain't that odd. Well, "Tybalt" must come from somewhere if it came up as a suitable product of the factors in my dream, but I'm not drawing any strong recognition, either.

How are you supposed 2 know if someone talks in shorthand?

Uh....hi? I think? What's with all the numbers and signs and stuff?

catwouldbeking May 27 2009, 22:05:08 UTC
Does something have 2 be "with" them? Not much of a mathematics person, I'm guessing.

((Half-assed strikes are half-assed. Probably part of the fact that he's an attention seeker. XP))

Well, people usually have a point when they do stuff, y'know.

Hey, if you really want an excuse, when I was "born," the 2 biggest things on my mind were numbers and my dream.

The dream was a zetta letdown.

If I gotta hang on to something, I'll stick with the numbers 4 the time being.

Hello, Tybalt. ^_^ I'm Bridge!

You can get more clothes in the Marketplace, but it might be wise to get a job first so you don't spend all of your money...

Charmed.

Go fig. What kinds of jobs do they have at this place?

handy_psychic May 28 2009, 01:58:35 UTC
Lots! There's a listing outside the Hall of Beginnings. Personally I'm a Scavenger; I look for stuff in the Scavengers' Yard all day and fix up the things I find if I can! It's an awesome job if you ask me. ^_^

Sounds like it.

What kinds of "things"?

Uh... hi, Tybalt! Well there's an aquarium, a park, a chocobo track... but I agree with Bridge. You should see about getting yourself a job before you worry about entertainment. I'm Cara, by the way.

(What's a yoctogram?)

catwouldbeking May 27 2009, 22:07:20 UTC
1 yoctogram = 0.000 000 000 000 000 000 000 001 grams.

A miniscule amount of mass.

((Next to "chocobo")) = ?

feathered_earth May 27 2009, 22:26:11 UTC
Oh, gotcha.

A chocobo is a kind of big bird you can ride. Most of them are yellow but there are a few other colors too.

So they're huge yellow birds ridden 4 sport? You did say something about a track. Not that I'd know at this point, but that sounds kind of different.

Anywho, welcome to Edensphere, Tybalt. I'm Lucy. :) Clothes and things with which to entertain yourself can be found in the marketplace.

MATHS IS SRS BZNS catwouldbeking May 28 2009, 02:52:07 UTC
The world is made of numbers, everything in its design measured and calculated, multipliable, convertable, divisible, and manipulatable when you learn 2 crunch it.

Least, something tells me that's how it oughta be. 4 all I know this place is made of Factor that train of thought.

Figures a marketplace would be a good 1st spot to look 4 those kinds of things.

uh... right!

I'll leave the math to Chosen.

Not my fault if you can't get your head around it.

Who's Chosen?
