I'm a CD-buyer too! *high-five* I don't even own an iPod or anything of that nature.
Hmm, do you happen to be a sucker every now and then for a popular song that you couldn't be bothered to buy an entire album to get? For example, I really dig 50 Cent/Justin Timberlake/Timbaland's "AYO Technology," but I don't want to get a 50 Cent album. Not that I'm suggesting that your tastes are that lame, lol.
Now, as far as bands that I *wouldn't* recommend for a download or two, but rather for tracking down their entire discography....DISCO INFERNO! You can download (for free) some live tracks here. I'd upload some for you if my computer's CD player worked. They don't sound like what their name would suggest, I promise, lol! It's like 90s post-punk-influenced stuff with lots of sampling.
Hm. Sometimes the rare occasion does occur that I like a song on the radio, but then it gets played to death and I don't like it anymore.
But there, there. Don't feel bad for liking AYO Technology; whenever I'm at a thrift store and see old cheesy cassettes of MC Hammer, Tone Loc, etc. for sale, I instantly buy 'em. It's a weakness.
Which leads me to think that it might be a good idea to buy some good ol' fashioned BOOTY MUSIC INSTEAD.

Thanks for the Disco Inferno suggestion! I seriously thought you were suggesting some cheesy disco band when I began to read it, I swear :P
Now to check out AMAZON instead of ITUNES and see if they got some stuff.
