It's a short story i remember reading in 2nd or 3rd grade, from a book called "in a dark, dark room and other scary stories"

I read a slightly different version of this one when I was in the 8th grade. The names may have been changed but I remember the final like was "And her head fell off." I retold it several times in the early 80s to aggravate people. :-) Thanks for the memories and activating brain cells that hadn't been activated in 28 to 30 years.
