Truly? Weather appropriate or not, Christian Dior is never free. I'll keep these aside until I'm made aware of my mysterious benefactor. Look but don't touch.

Boots like those are only appropriate if you intend to spend the day leaping tall buildings in a single bound.

Are you comparing them to the footwear of a masked vigilante?

Hardly. Superman doesn't wear a mask.

I am, however, comparing them to that of a costumed vigilante, which is arguably close enough to warrant awarding you at least partial credit.

Well I would hope I know what I'm talking about when it comes to costumed vigilantes.

Really, really don't touch. Those shoes are dangerous.

I have no plans to do such a thing.

I am glad you're anti red shoe diaries.

I'm not anti-red shoes, I'd simply prefer to know the identity of my gift giver first.

Your mysterious benefactor must have confused you with an Adrianne.

They're perfectly suitable for menswear.

Depends on what you mean by menswear.

Tell me what you mean.

Why is everybody so hung up on shoes?

Have you found no redeeming value in them? Are you barefoot as we speak, doctor?

I wear shoes. I expect them to be a barrier between my feet and the ground. I'd just like to know what other people expect them to do to warrant all the fuss.

You could always put them on display.

caughtthebullet October 20 2010, 04:35:05 UTC
That would be teasing.

Telling people to look and not touch is already teasing.

It was a warning.
