Hmm, it seems I missed classes altogether yesterday for some reason or another. My apologies, please expect classes to be held regularly today. Your Headmaster tells me that I am to give anyone who doesn't show up a detention.

Though I'm pleased to see you are well today, Howl, you should always give detentions to students who do not come to class without a reasonable excuse.

Oh, I would but you see... But I find serving detention really rather unpleasant. I usually reserve my detentions for those that feel the need to mess with their potion's to the point of completely ruining them.

Yes, but you can't expect each Professor to go about things the same way. Besides, be happy I even bother with detentions at all because I could just ignore any misbehavior whatsoever.
