everyday the same again

this time last year
emerson went to the emergency room
because
she decided drinking a bottle of cold medicine was a good idea
(childproof caps i think not... she was 1 1/2)

this week
she got her first cast (hot pink)
because
she fractured her elbow after taking a nosedive out of a shopping cart.

i see a pattern forming
