i always dry off with the fuzzy side of the towel.

i just read jayber crow by wendell berry.

it was recommended to me a while back but i never got around to reading it.
then
wife picked it up at the lib because one of her friends said jayber reminded her of me.

well

me and jayber do seem to share many views. i guess we are alike in quite a few ways.

anyway. . . i liked the book.

makes me a father of two. . . . 13 months ago i was a father of none.

one time,

when i was a young chap,
i told my mother that i was too tired to go to school.
so she said,
ok.

but

i had to stay in bed all day
to sleep
bc i was so tired.

sounded fine to me.
i was never too tired for school ever again.
