New Poliakoff! On BBC 1, 9 pm (UK) tonight. It's called "Friends and Crocodiles" and is likely to be very good.

Speaking of BritTV - has anyone heard anything (or even, heaven forfend, seen) "Hyperdrive"? Apparently the first episode was last Wednesday...

I really wanted to like it what with it featuring Nick Frost and all that but ...meh it needs alot of work to become good.

I liked Hyperdrive and thought it showed promise. Very Red Dwarf, but in a good way. But without scutters. :-(

My brother made his television debut in Friends and Crocodiles ... as an extra. I think I saw the back of his head for half a second at the garden party.

I got my parents to record Friends and Crocodiles because I was out.

He's got another one coming out at the end of February (28th I think), and he's making a third. They're all supposed to link together in some way to present a look at recent British history.
