There's a bit of a furor going on on some of the blogs I read, because a woman on one of the blogs they read said that she thinks she owes it to her husband to stay slim. If she got fat, that would be unfair: it would be false advertising

I can't help hoping that the husband in that realtionship also has to remain slim/keep all his hair/maintain decent pecs or something analogous in effort to the wife keeping slim. Although as you said, none of our business. :P

One can buy anti-allergenic cats. They are rather expensive, though (either $5000 or $50000, I forget which).

Yeah, false advertising - deliberately misleading someone in order to get them to go out with you, just seems bizarre to me. There are some things I like to think tickle me: longish, nicely cut, well groomed hair that I can run my hands through, for instance - I really like that on a man. I've said before that I don't think I could ever go out with a bald man for that reason, but I don't actually think that's true, attraction works in mysterious ways, and were I attracted to a really cool guy who was (whether by choice or otherwise) bald, it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. I would sigh about it, but I imagine I'd live. If I wasn't interested in him, though, and he started trying to grow his hair because he heard I liked long hair and wanted to get my attention, it would put me off rather than turn me on (unless, that is, I had some reason to think that my mentioning it had actually made him reconsider shaving his head and it was something he genuinely wanted to try out
