The internet owns my life.

I just worked out that, as I spend 3-4 hours online every weekday morning for this internship, plus talking to K & whatnot in the evening, I'm quickly approaching spending a full time job's worth of my life on the internet. How about y'all?

I don't think that there's a quantitative value you can place on "too much internet".
However, there's obviously a limit; should you start to shrivel at the slightest amount of natural light and start to smell of empty packets of bacon flavoured crisps, you know you're on there too much.
I think basically 80% of people with a computer are addicted to the internet to a certain degree. It's not unhealthy because we use it to our benefit. This is what I tell myself, anyway...

I put 'Other' which means looking at job adverts. I find a couple of hours is too much in one go, but I don't usually spend that long online these days because I share the computer and have books to read.

Too much internet is when it starts interfering adversely with life offline. This value will vary from person to person! :-)

You sound like you're quoting an NHS leaflet...?

I have a hunch there's an official EU figure for internet addiction, now that you say that! I think it was 4 hours a day, or somewhere in that vicinity.
