Random thought: Superhero names in RL

Real Person: Batman Bin Suparman

Side note: About a year ago I was at a mall and heard a parent calling to their kid, "Come here, Kal-El". I did a double take, because at first I couldn't believe I had heard the name right. Have you ever come across someone with a Superhero name in real life?

I've never come across anyone, but I remember reading something in a newspaper a few years ago about a couple in Germany, I think, who wanted to name their son Superman, because he had was born with Superman's iconic flying pose, but a judge overruled them, saying that it would be cruel to the child. I think I agree with the judge. Kal-El is okay, but Superman? *shakes head a little*

Yeah, actually being named Superman would be rough, I'm sure that kid would have been teased mercilessly.

Hi. I was just wondering around LJ when I found your journal. This is a funny post, haven't meet anyone in real life, but I remember hearing Nick Cage was naming his kid Kal-El.

Lol, oh Nic Cage. It seems like Kal-El might be one of the more popular superhero names out there. I know that Kevin Smith named his daughter Harley Quinn though.
