My mechanic just called. Tells me they have been searching all day for the problem with my car and finally found it. It's a problem with the ignition switch. Minor part, very cheap. Hell yeah. An honest mechanic is hard to find. Keeps me coming back that's for sure.

Damn straight. For big shit, we take our car to our landlord's mechanic, and he's been pretty awesome. This summer, he took a look at the squeak in our A/C system, and said, and I quote, "Fixing this would be expensive, but you don't need it fixed." A mechanic, who could have fixed it and charged for it (we had budgeted to pay), turned down free money. So, yeah, we're going back there.
