Oh, I'm so glad you could make it! I was so surprised ... ! And, oh, how cool it was to meet the oft-described Faete (she's such a cutie!). I'm sorry to hear that moving was a pain in the ass; if I hadn't been visiting with out-of-town friends, I might have been able to help out. I'm looking forward to seeing your new pad sometime.

well first off, i have no idea why they are playing with Auf De Mar and Monster Magnet...there music is fairly heavy with lyrics about love. their most recent record is called "Love Metal" which is a great description of their music. the appeal, other than that, im not sure. they have sort of the goth appeal and metal edge, coated in romantic/love oriented lyrics. the symbol commenly (actually IS) associated with HIM is the heartagram. this was made popular by Bam Margera who is basically obsessed with HIM. i heard he saw them over in Europe and liked them so much that he got them signed over here. he's BAm he can do that.

Yay! Awesome ... thanks, Andy. This is incredibly helpful. These guys just seemed to come out of nowhere; the Bam Margera connection makes a lot more sense. Ah, yes, the heartagram ... THIS IS SUCH A CULT.

Honestly.

But it would be a much more appealing religion than most. I have to say, those are some pretty hot Finnish dudes ... gotta love the fact that Ville Vallo is showing off his tattooed treasure trail in almost every promo shot ...
