My favorite crop-art picture she did was of Norm Colman while he was mayor of St. Paul after he switched from being a democrat to a republican. It was his picture (in seed form) with and the name "Benedict Arnold" over the top.

I don't think Lillian was responsible for the Norm Colman pic (which, by the way, said "Turncoat," not "Benedict Arnold." It was my favorite too!). She never really delved into the political aspects of the art. And honestly, her work wasn't my favorite -- I preferred the more avant garde pieces. However, Lillian's contribution to crop art was tremendous. Her skill made people take notice of a campy art form that typically only weirdos like me adore.

How many portraits and tributes in seed form do you think will be on display at the fair this year?

Now you see, talkin' bout crop art is all manly.

It's so manly, now I want into your pants.

So it's really kinda gay.

Thanks for making me gay.

I thought GG Allin was a much better crap artist.
