She did what?

I'd feel better if Kurt and Fred had a suicide pact, that'd be a good one.

You are a posting fool in the last couple of days.

We all knew this was coming.

It is a sad day.

Did you read his last book? I meant to pick it up for you for your birthday, but March was a UBER fucked and poor month for me.

Yeah, he was fairly frail, but still full of pluck.

He really was starting to remind me of the grandfather on South Park.

Family: Happy birthday to you
Grandpa: Kill me!
Family: Hapy birthday to you
Grandpa: Kill me god dammit!
Stan: What do you want for your 105th birthday?
Grandpa: Shoot me!

I'm sad, too. But anyone who saw him on The Daily Show last year must have known this was coming.

On a less sad note, I rock.

I usually only care in a dead pool sort of way when somebody famous dies. This one genuinely made me sad. Vonnegut is one of my favorite writers, if not my most favorite.

I think we should pick a Vonnegut for book club. Sure it'll be a re-read, but worth discussion! I vote for Cat's Cradle.
