No one was hurt
So February. Seems like people have been feeling this month has been a little harsh. My sister, for instance, got hives all over her body. Took several days to get rid of them.
I generally try to avoid blaming an arbitrary time increment for bad times, but I know it can be tempting.
So try not to read too much into the timing of this...
rampion got into an accident while bringing Leif home from daycare. (As the title says, no one was hurt.) She was at an uncontrolled intersection that had a house on the corner that is rather close to the street. She didn't see the school bus until she was right on top of it. She slammed on the breaks, and slid into the rear passenger side. I think had it been a vehicle that was lower to the ground there would have been much less damage. But as it is, most of the impact was taken by the grill. (So the radiator about has to be shot.) rampion said that she barely felt the impact at all. (No airbags were deployed.)
Don't know how much or how long it will take to fix the truck up yet.
I don't have anything else intelligent to say. (Other than I am incredibly thankful that the truck did its job and protected my family.)
