i finally got it back to usual after some long, lonely days and my dads help. i had to reinstall windows 2k over top of itself and it managed to eradicate the registry issues which caused much anger in the last few days. i installed version 4.2 as i do not dare touch 4.5 after what happened last time. to validate its return, i bought a used poison
