When I read my mind starts drifting . . . I'll still be reading, but without acknowledging the meaning of any of the words. Within a few minutes I generally realize I'm not comprehending anything, but rather thinking of doing something else or even dreaming, if not hallucinating.
When I write a single paragraph this becomes a huge accomplishment, and I stare at the clock telling myself "get this done within forty-five minutes." I get it done, but it's more like 4-5 hours later.
I'll be tired, and I'll want to sleep . . . but I tell myself "just one more thing" and then it's 4am again.
I'll be uncomfortable doing something, or even relatively bored ( when I should be sleeping ) and so I'll search out food . . . over, and over again till I can't eat anymore.
I'm not sure what to do about this. I try to discipline my mind and control it, but it's hard. You know?
