I am not going to patronize you, or tell you that forgetting things makes the path through life last longer and be easier. That's not how it works. We remember because the past is a part of who and what we are, however fucked up it is. We can choose to let it define us, or we can make a point to grow from it.

Teleporters will be the downfall of mankind because no one will try for anything once a button can easily be pushed. *looks around* Shit smells, distance does suck, life can be the sum of a handful of anti-depression pills from time to time, but at least it's life, and life is a gift. Cows moo, and so do monkies.
