I quit World of Warcraft last night, after a big successful raid everyone logged off and I stumbled upon the article written by the former Guild Master of one of the oldest guilds in the world... after reading it I couldn't keep playing. I logged back on.. destroyed all my things--sent the rest to friends and logged off for the last time

I've been thinking about quiting for awhile now. and hell, I've been playing since it practicly came out. The only thing left for my toon are the high end raids, and I just don't have time for that.

That's one powerful tale.

That story made up my mind, I'm going to get Battlefield 2142 tonight (if they still ahve a copy) and try playing something that will hopfully get my mind off WoW.

I wouldn't say THAT... I just wish it didn't take so much time to be able to participate in the 'meat' of the content.
