So, the plot thickens...the same (in my opinion) crappy tape that got me accepted into meadowmount has now gotten me accepted into the Apsen Music Festival. And I have to say, i'm actually pretty stoked about this news. This is the camp I actually wanted to go to. So yeah...hooray!

GO TO ASPEN! THAT IS AN ORDER! You will quickly find that you will have a MUCH better time there. You can basically play viola and drink until the cows come home. I am REALLY proud of you and can't wait to see you in about a week! Eburg...here I come.

I second what Bruce is saying. The people I know who went to Aspen had a great time (although the town itself is a miserable place to be poor, so I've heard). On the other hand, the people I know who went to Meadowmount had a horrible time, and got very little out of it.

Once again, I agree wholeheartedly with Trista's sentiment regarding your tendencies to underestimate your own talent. Anyway, congratulations!
