I'm not sure if there's any advice that will make things easier for you, but one thing hasn't failed me so far: honesty. It may not be easy and it may not be immediate, but I guarantee that if you're sincere, things will work out.

There's no quick fix for trust issues, but resolve your concerns in steps, and in time, you will heal.
