Rio and the long road to it.

Getting back to Rio de Janeiro proved to be quite a challenge. First there was the part of getting out of Iquitos, Peru. Since Iquitos is the biggest city on earth without any roads leading to it, I was left with two options of getting out of there, on to Ecuador. Don´t worry, I was quite aware of how badly things could have turned out... even a minor injury like a broken leg would have meant the end of my trip, and therefore missing out on all the good things that are to come.

Also, I am terribly sorry about forgetting to send you a postcard from Buenos Aires, but will you settle for one from Rio, or any of the other places I´ll be going in the next few months?

Ja wadde... Ik had al lang in de kliniek gelegen, me m'n fragiele botjes.
By the way, heb vorige week leuk nieuws gekregen. Rond deze tijd volgend jaar bevind ik mij (mits enige vertraging) 2 maanden op stage in Moncton, Canada !
Tegen dan zijde al wel terug zeker?
