This Christmas blows

My dog just died... he ate a fucking twist-tie (we think it might have come from a dog toy we bought him), and it tore his intestine. They operated, and he was fine... he came the fuck home! He was at the vets for four days, and they sent him the fuck home! He was supposed to be fine! He was so sick, and hurting so much... we couldn't even ease ( Read more... )

Thank you... I'm just glad he's not suffering anymore. Toward the end, he was struggling to stand back up for us while whimpering and crying... he was trying to make us happy 'til the end. It makes me feel that much more sad, you know? He kept fighting until the end for us...

I couldn't have asked for a better dog.

Thank you... he was my baby, you know, when he was small enough to be called a baby. I'm gonna miss him so much-- we had him for eight wonderful years, and I can't remember not having him.

**clings** Thank you... It was the freaking day before Christmas, for cryin' out loud... the vets sent him home! He was supposed to be fuckin' fine! I just... gah. It was just the infection he got from the twist tie that was too much... he was fighting for us until the end. Even though he was crying, he was trying so hard to stand up for us.

Today doesn't feel like Christmas.

Know the feeling. I went through the same thing 6 years ago with my favorite ferret Max, and last year with Hop-Sing. Tis the reason I don't like Christmas much.

Yeah... I never really liked Christmas to the effect that most people do, but now... man.

**hugs** I miss him so much... and it really blows that it was Christmas Eve when he died. I just wish that he hadn't suffered so much.
