I have to admit that I didn't even recognize her as the companion actress which shows just how out of the loop I am these days on Who news. I didn't notice Amy being cold to the Doctor or anything like that but it did seem as though she was over the whole time traveling thing.

Yeah. Obviously they're not travelling with the Doctor full time, which I imagine will have repercussions in the sense of how dangerous he can be when left to his own devices. In some ways, it's much healthier that they're not just sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring, but I definitely agree that Amy seems to be over it.
I love Moffat's sexy, confident, brainy women and hope he keeps them coming. Sure beats the passive, damsel-in-distresses that dominate so much of other telly. *shrug*
