I'd forgotten how amazing it is to be a tourist.  I spent all afternoon at the Tates the day before yesterday, and got a crapload of art mags (why can I never find any of them in the states?) and a nice canvas messenger bag.  Hurrah!  It was nice to see Alex again, also... such fun to have geeky conversations and to hear someone other than myself
