Someone please, PLEASE tell me what became of my talent for writing excellent english papers. Please. Because I can't find it anywhere, and it's driving me crazy. I've just spent three hours on a paper so far, and I'm not even half way through. It's only supposed to be 1,200 words or so. I can usually do these things in an hour. What gives?

I keep wondering that about my ability to do labs. Apparently it disappeared sometime after the AP Bio exam last year. Go figure.

"The God of Small Things" by Arundhati Roy. I don't understand why they make us read books that'll be forgotten in twenty years, and not authors like T.S. Eliot or something. Grah!

dear...uh, I hate to say this, but you are damn lucky to ever be able to write any paper in 1 hour; it's always taken me all night.

And English papers (mine, at least, I dunno about yours) are to good writing as the SAT is to intelligence: namely, completely unrelated.
