For those to whom I haven't been yapping about it all week, my NYT crossword construction debut will be tomorrow's puzzle (Wednesday 10/31) - I hope you do it and enjoy it!

(Many thanks to Eric, saxikath, rpipuzzleguy, canadianpuzzler for helpful feedback when I was writing the puzzle!)

That was one of the most entertaining NYT puzzles I've ever solved*. Congratulations!

* Solved = Mondays, Tuesdays**, most Wednesdays, a third of Thursdays and three Sundays over the last few months.

** Except for this Tuesday, which was humbling after breaking six minutes for the first time on Monday.

Late as usual here...
Just wanted to say that while I always enjoy a good puzzle, and a rebus even more, this one was really special.
A definite vote for treat here. Thanks!

As I wrote in my own journal, I had a blast with it, and my crossword geek girlfriend is aswoon that I got a personal comment from the puzzle author!

I have to ask, though: how did you find my LJ entry? I didn't really include any really obvious keywords in the entry or title, and a search wouldn't have found my scanned image of the finished puzzle.

I found it by Google blog-searching on "crossword" and let Ken know. Crossword writers rarely get to see reaction from solvers.

And we solvers rarely get to see the writers as anything other than names under the grid, so thank you for ferreting me out for Ken!

And lo, I see there is a whole cadre of crossword puzzle folk on LJ!
