Hey guys, just reposting my last entry cos apparently some special people can't see it - and I'd hate for anyone to miss out on a lovely LJ entry from Cazzie!!!:
Wow, it's been so long since I've posted an entry that LJ has all changed and I had to search around to find out how to update - hee hee!
So how are you all my little sweeties!? I'm back in Bristol now, as well you all know (because Crawley is suddenly a lot quieter and generally quite dull and boring...) - have been back for almost a week already, doesn't time fly when you're having fun (!?) I've managed to catch a few of you lovely (but possibly unlucky) people online - me and Benny are already well into the all-nighters again, but having some issues with my PC at the mo so may not be on much over the weekend (OI, stop cheering!) But hopefully I'll be back with you all properly soon in the world of MSN pretty much 24/7!
This year is gonna be pretty intense, but quite interesting work. Having said that, just had a ridiculously boring 2-day Interprofessional Conference, during which I almost lost the will to live. Had a doctor on my team who was determined to be as un-interprofessional as you can get, and totally thought he was all that and that we were just nobodies, but hey, that's just the hierarchy of the National Health Service for you. Pretty stupid though getting us all together for 2 days of interprofessional parp which we all hate anyway and then sticking us poor souls with some stupid trainee doctor who thinks he's God and we're all just like his little Oompa-Loompas that he can just boss around - so much for IP working!
But other than that, this year is shaping up to be a pretty good one - the first Semester, at least. Lots of interesting stuff coming up like Burns and Plastics, and Paediatrics which I have decided is my ultimate goal, so actually quite excited about that!
Will be coming home (now stop booing) in 27 sleeps - for Big G's birthday celebrations! And I can and will point and laugh because he is older than me, and he will go grey first! Looking forward to seeing all of you, it can't come a moment too soon (for me, anyway!) Most people here are already doing my head in, although my new house is lush and it's great being back with housemates that I love and who won't steal all my money! (I hope! Lol!)
Well, that's enough out of me for one night, just thought I'd do a bit of an update as it's been a while! Just wanna say thanks for a great Summer as well - even though I was working my little tiny socks off, I still managed to catch up with you guys and we had some great times and good laughs, so thank you. And as soon as my PC is fixed (don't hold your breath) my pics from the Summer will be posted! And would love to see anyone else's! Would also love to see updates, but hey, if you all got fancy new stuff and have left LJ behind, who am I to complain...?
Love you and miss you all, take care and feel free to write to me at any point! I love getting post, it makes me feel warm inside! I will text my address to anyone that wants to send me post, and PROMISE to write back straight away! There, you have it in writing!
