To my horror, I discovered that there isn't a Takin' Over the Asylum comm on LJ! Especially with the DVD coming out soon, this couldn't continue, so I've started one myself:

wearelooniesIf you haven't seen the programme, it's about a radio station in a psychiatric hospital in Scotland, and stars Ken Stott and a young David Tennant. It's rather bittersweet

I've had a copy of the first ep FOREVER but never get round to watching it. This recommendation has prompted me to bump it up the to-watch list. :-)

It's definitely worth watching. It's quite harrowing at times but it's really well acted and there's lots of comedy to balance out the darker bits.
