WIP Meme

Post the first sentence (or three) from every WIP you're currently working on, even if it's very short. Then invite people to ask questions about your WIPs. With any luck, you'll get talking about writing, and the motivation to take that WIP one step closer to completion will appear as if by magic!
Melissa/Sheriff, one-shot.
If Melissa wasn't feeling embarrassed at the way she lunged for her vibrating phone, the judgmental look from her superior, Lauren, would have been more than enough. Phones were not supposed to be on during shifts, but she hadn't been able to help herself. What if she'd missed a very important call from him?
Scott/Jackon, Untitled
Jackson couldn’t sleep. He lay stiff on his back, scared of touching Scott. He stared up at the ceiling, too distracted by the other boy’s restless tossing and turning. And also by the fact that he was sharing a bed with Scott McCall.

Scott hopped off his bike and leaned it against a tree, briefly debating its safety. It was not going to be any good riding that thing on the uneven floor in the woods, especially in the dark. As he stomped along, he cursed himself for letting Stiles rope him into another of his crazy and poorly-timed ideas.

As he hurried towards them, Jackson appeared from the crowd of students, heading his way. He walked even faster, his need to talk to Jackson actually overwhelming his desire to explain himself to Allison. Jackson saw him, and in a fashion that would have been funny in any other circumstance, immediately about-faced, heading briskly in the opposite direction.
