Because of timing this summer, instead of a trip away with just Miria, I nudged both of the girls into doing a trip to Maine with me to York Beach. After a break of just about a week, the girls and I picked up the Bone first volume again and I read them the second chapter, doing all the voices and everything. Miria's doing her best to follow along by reading with me in her head so she can associate the pictures, but she's still not quite fast enough and gets behind a bit. What an amazing week
Two huge meetings of a personal nature this week that went beyond expectations. I didn't expect either to go badly but I didn't expect them to go this well either.

On Being Open To Emotional Manipulation
So, today I got to see the new Karate Kid movie. I had watched the first two late last year or so with the kids so they could get introduced to it and they loved them. I really liked the original back when it came out, owned it on multiple formats.
