Bye Bye FPMS

Today was my last day at Forest Park Middle School and I will definitely miss it a hell of a lot. I've spent the last two months with these students and have gotten to know all of them pretty well, and now it will be weird tomorrow to go to Catholic Memorial instead. Not only will it be weird for me, but imagine how my students will feel tomorrow

That's really a huge thing about teaching that I'm not looking forward to. You get this class that you get close to every year, and then they move on. It's bittersweet because yes, they are that much more prepared for further endeavors, but it's hard to let them go knowing that you may never hear any more about how they do in the future. You've got to let them go and hope for the best and remember the wonderful blessings each child brought to the classroom.

I'm glad you've had a great student teaching experience so far though. I have heard a few horror stories about people who have gone student teaching and then realized that's not at all what they want to be doing or they have just had horrible cooperating teachers. I hope you have just as good of a time at the new school! Good luck!
