Everyone should see this movie. It's Al Gore's documentary about global warming. Check it out at http://www.climatecrisis.net/. thanks for posting that! i will go see it with you when it comes out... maybe at the tivoli? i wish we had better public transportation here.. it makes me sad to drive my car so much.

i also wish i could convince my parents to recycle.

The only place it's playing in KC is the Tivoli. If I could change one thing about KC it would probably be for it to have a good mass transit system. I'm really looking forward to buying a new car sometime in the next year because I'm going to get rid of my SUV. It actually gets good gas mileage, especially for a SUV, but I know I can find a car that gets better. I implemented a recycling program at my work. Wayside Waifs has a program where you can drop off your cans and they'll recycle them and the money goes to their facility. It's hard for me to understand why anyone wouldn't recycle. Some people have their reasons, but I think it's a bunch of bs. Bottom line is I think they're just too lazy or ignorant about our environmental issues. No offense to your parents! Enough of my rant.
