last minute ideas, please?

My mom's 60th birthday is coming up, I have no idea what to do. I can't really do a big bash because...well, I just can't. I do have a sister but we are estranged which upsets my Mom greatly so I know this is going to be on her mind. Some one suggested I do a Spa day with her, I can also ask her friend to join us. I know she really wants to go
