And so it goes...

No go for Disney. Yes, I'm sad. In my head I had built up any number of fantastical events which could have followed if the project had been optioned. C'est la vie? The producer isn't giving up, and has promised to put on her 'thinking cap' about who else to approach. Mrrr.

No matter what, in my book you're still one of the most awesomest writers ever.

Your moment will come, don't you worry.

I have not yet seen the new Airbender series, but I am so excited about it. Especially with this idea of there being a Mako-ish character in there!

Ta! I remain optimistic, my readers are awesome and sales are still happening, so that's enough for me (for now).

Korra is a lot of fun - the last two episodes of the season were edge-of-your-seat fantastic, definitely check it out. :)

Darling, your are brilliant anyway and sometimes fate goes round a corner instead of walking straight ahead. I have complete faith in you. *hugs*

Given I wasn't convinced it was going to happen, the mere fact a producer even contacted me is the 'win' I'm taking away so far. It's nice to be validated by someone in the industry - especially as a self-pubbed author.

(Thanks for the hugs!)

I completely agree with you regarding Korra's development. Especially in the finale - ?! - bending taken away, yet she can airbend, and then reach the Avatar State? It did all seem way too easy. Aang, even if I don't agree with all the choices made to develop his character in ATLA, suffered and grew throughout the seasons.

I do hope things get better in the second season. I love the show, but get frustrated when I see wasted potential.

Awww, well shit. :( But at least she's still trying, which awesome! And still you have a producer who likes your stuff, which is amazing!

I can get aboard the Iroh/Asami ship -- it's about the only one I could potentially tolerate at the moment. (Plus, would that make them Super Commander Fire Lord and Lady??).

You are too right - since the Gaang grown up would have been a treat. The flashback sequences were some of my favorite from this season as well. Seriously glad to see Aang became a BAMF.

Of course I will still love and watch Season 2, but I'm not sure how they can redeem themselves exactly.
