CIO: Day 2

Dec 17, 2003 14:56

CIO = "Crying It Out"

Julia was put to bed at 9:30. At 9:45 I went in for my once-only "mommy's still here" comfort pat and discovered she had a dirty diaper. I changed her and put her back in bed five minutes later. She cried until 10:15ish and then went to sleep until 8am.

Not too bad, dontcha think?

Okay, I've been thinking about what you can get Navy Boy for Christmas and I've determined that I know nothing about him. Gimme some stats.

Does he like sports? Favorite hobbies? Favorite TV shows? Food?

Football. Football. Football. Football. FOOTBALL.

He's from Wisconsin and apparently all that state has to offer is football (the, um, shit... "something" Bay Packers?) and beer.

He doesn't really have a hobby unless you count FOOTBALL and beer. :)

He watches Ephramwood and The OC. This is the level on which we bond. And he likes movies of all kinds.

And he likes all kinds of food, especially Italian.

Green Bay Packers, dear. :)

Okay. Could you get him something football related? A jersey/long-sleeved team shirt and then take him for a nice dinner?

Or...go to NFL.com and look in their team stores. TONS of useless crap in there that every sport's fan would love to have. Trust me. Even if you think it's stupid, he'll love it if it's about his favorite team. Everything from pool balls/cues to t-shirts, to golf club covers to baby clothes, etc.

I bought John some stuff off their this year, actually.

Go RAMS!
