What potty seat do you have for your DC? Alexis likes to sit on the toilet but she just pretends to go -before wiping herself. Then she likes to see me flush the toilet.

Debating between a full on seat of her own or just getting something that sits on top of a regular toilet. Thoughts?

We got both. In the beginning we used the little potty all the time - keeping it in the room she was in until she mastered going pretty well. Then the little potty went to the car. We still use it sometimes in the car. I prefer the potty ring (no mess to clean) and tried to get her to the big potty as much as possible in the beginning, but I think the little potty came in handy during the early PT days.

I got the Circo potty at Target today - but I didn't open it because when I got home, I figured that since Alexis is already asking to sit on the big/real toilet, she'd probably prefer to sit on there with a potty seat insert thing. Versus getting used to a full on potty chair - then we'd just have to work on transitioning her to the toilet, KWIM? Right now, she asks to sit on the toilet 3x per day - but hasn't done anything in it yet!
