So what more have we been up to...
Visited my brother Louis with my dad. He lives in a place called Baarn, about an hour drive away from us. He has down syndrome and had to live in a home since he was four. Was really hard on my mom. But there was no other way in those days.
We stayed for coffee and lunch.
Went to the market in Heemskerk and bought this, we are already looking for new hobbies for the kids at school, want to try it out myself before school starts again. And then maybe I will have a new hobby too. There is always room for one more. :^)
My daughter Susanne celebrated her 26th birthday. They grow up so fast.
Went to a big chinese shop with my daughters Silvia and Miranda, and bought all these goodies.
Asked them if I could take one of their chinese news papers, they smiled and said yes. So I took one, wonderful for mixed media projects, didn't tell them that. Will they think I can read chinese?
Made these ATC's for a swap, subject was,"ancient civilizations"
We visited our sisters in law, they have this lovely veranda.
I worked in a journal for the round robin project. The theme was unconditional love.
This is the result, inside the heart there is a poem about unconditional love, I found it on the internet.
We went to a very large flea market in Amsterdam, bought some books and a buggy, want to put my dog in it when we go to festivals where it is crowded.
And I made this necklace and bracelet with fabric beads I got from an other swap.
So our vacation is getting along real easy going as you can see. Love it.
