What icon do you see on this post? It should be my horses-which is my default,  and that's what I see, but under my user pics I have some 15 year old with a heart next to his head....

Huh. Well at least everyone else does! I want mah ponies, damnit. This kid is creeping me out.

I see the teenage boy... When this started happening with my LJ and other friends we soon worked out that different friends saw different things.

Unfortunately, the only way to fix it is to reload your original icon.

I had this exact experience last week and concur this advice. I had footprints in the sand, which is a parable I like but much prefer my Manson "andro" icon that you hopefully all see now. When I tried to upload it while the wrong icon was still in tact, no matter what I named Manson the footprints changed to the name (example: MM) but the image did not change. I had to delete the icon to make it appear again at all.
