hello everyone....to my BG roomies...jst wanted to know wat everyone is gona bring to BG cuz my mom's been bugging my to get things ready...yes i know its still like almost 2 months away but its my mother...wat can you do?
i hav a toaster and forman grill so far. as far as i know, nicole has got the kitchen covered, she has pots and pans, and plates and flatware, and kitchen towels and mits.
safia totallly answered for me. so i will have to give a more a specific list:
1 qt saucepan 2 qt saucepan a casserole pan a dutch oven a frying pan a skillet spatula laddle serving spoon sifter other tools i am not sure of the name a full set (8) of dishes/bowls/cups/utensils cooking towels and mits (in 3 designs, of which one is really cute) measuring cups measuring spoons
kitchen things i don't have yet are: grater, potato peeler, a large mixing bowl, cutting board, set of steak knives, wisk, pitcher
my only question, who is bringing the tv. cause i don't have one/intend to buy one. otherwise, everyone knows we are going to have a hella tight apartment (style-dorm) with all the rad fixins. plus in my two weeks before you all I can be like oh bring this and this and this.
oh my goodness i don't know. i don't have a tv nor do i ever plan on owning one...i'm sure i can get a pitcher, we have several at my house and i can steal one. as far as other stuff, i can get anything we deem necessary. we'll need sponges, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and other cleaning supplies, at least...
yah...i have a dish dryer thing...after u wash the dishes u put the dishes in there...i have the other kitchen supplies that nicole said she didnt have...uhm my mother also wants me to bring another set of dishes...she deems them "cute" and i should have them at all times...uhm i got the pillows on the sofa covered..lol....and some vases and tablecloths...uhm i mite be able to bring the steak knives...not too sure though....oh and a pressure cooker (its a small one but big)...some pots and pans...dont have a tv...well i do but its realllly tiny....oh a spice rack (which will include INDIAN spices...lol and regular ones as well) yah we will need cleaning supplies...hmmmmm some cleaning thingies...i dont have a vacuum though.......
i can bring my tv back and a vacuum but my vacuum isnt a very good one, what abt a microwave? slipcovers for the sofa? or we could just use sheets..or nothing. a coffee table? something to put the tv and dvd players and stuff on? what abt lighting? i could get a floor lamp, are there any restrictions on those like there were in the dorms? shelves? rugs? oh and i got one of the bathrooms covered. trashcan for the kitchen?
