If it makes you feel any better, I'm pretty sure I'm older than you, and used to be big on superhero cartoons/comics, and *still* would have had no idea what you were talking about. Presumably this was something that fell during my 25-year TV hiatus.

I assume her look was similar to when my Mrs. and I, at various moments of success or triumph, make fists, touch our wedding rings, and say "Wonder Married People Powers, Activate!"

Or maybe we just get the looks because we're cheesy. :)
