I had a correspondence with Isabelle Allende when I was younger. She sent me two cards, handmade by her. One she wrote about my inspiring her...which was ironic to me. I find her inspirational and love her writing. Her novel Julia was very compelling and is a true story about her daughter. I recommend it. Then again I love all of her books.
