I had this craving for pie all day, so finally, at 10pm, I was able to get to the store and buy one of the frozen kind. I made the mistake of reading "reader reaction" to Andrew Sullican's "Stand By Our Man" (ie, Dubya). I had dinner out tonight with some people on an email list I'm on. One of the members noticed that a local Middle Eastern restaurant owned by a Lebanese family had not been doing much business since Tuesday.
