Just one week to go until the new series of Doctor Who begins. I love Matt Smith, and I love Mr. Moffat's take on the show, so I think for me it's going to be one of the best seasons ever. I'm so with you but also trying to temper my expectations a bit too. Last season I was more than surprised but I don't want a repeat of 2006 when I was too worked up for the new series and got "New Earth".

Or 2008 when I got 13 episodes of "The Catherine Tate Show feat. David Tennant".

Oh God I looked at the trailer AND THE MUSIC AND THE WHAT IS GOING ON AND I WANT TO WATCH IT NOW NOW NOW!!!!!

I'm also super-excited. Even throwing a little season premier party. And yes, Matt Smith has brought a lot of darkness and alienness to the Doctor that's been missing.
