Rules

1. NO GODMODDING! If you want to use another player's character, you must get their permission and approval before posting. Additionally, no godplaying a lack of action on the part of another player's character. Any violation of this rule will be dealt with by the mods.

2. Be respectful of each other.

3. Be active. Post at least once a week, (note: continuously posting in-character in an active RP thread also counts as meeting the posting requirement) and if you cannot meet those requirements, announce the reason for the hiatus in the comm.

4. Entries made in character journals should include at least one of the following informational tags in the subject line of the entry and in the format shown: [private], [public], [action], [filtered to ___], or [e-mail to ____] Any untagged entries will automatically be assumed to be public journal entries, visible to all characters. Additionally, all out-of-character comments in an otherwise in-character post should be marked with [OOC] and square brackets around the OOC comments.

5. Be considerate of the people on dial-up. Cut all images and other high-bandwidth items in your posts. If you don't know how to make an lj-cut, read this.

6. Use proper language skills. That does not mean that you need to make only completely flawless posts and comments; however, don't go overboard with spelling and grammar errors, and willingness to learn and improve upon mistakes when pointed out to you is always appreciated. Exceptions are made for when the character has an in-character reason to write badly.

7. The community ccs_halfmagic is used solely for out-of-character announcements. All in-character gameplay takes place in the character journals. If you post an in-character entry to the comm, the mods will ask you to delete it and repost it in your character's journal. Don't worry, the players will still see it; we all have each others' character journals on our friendslists.

8. The current character limit is two characters per player, and we request that individual players not control two major canon characters. Exceptions must be cleared with the mods before applications are submitted.
