Chapter 1: Halloween
It was Halloween and the five best friends were having a party. Onew was dressed as Pikachu, Taemin as a schoolgirl, Key as a prince, Jonghyun was a Lolita and Minho was a mafia boss. Why did I have to be dressed as a Lolita? Jonghyun complained as he looked at the light blue dress with white ribbons.
“You look so pretty as a girl” Onew said. “So does Taemin. When I saw him put on that ribbon I was like: Ooh!”
“Yeah…let’s go trick or treating before it rains” Taemin smiled. “I heard it’s going to rain”
They went out and started to go from house to house. As they were on their way home Minho felt drop fall on him.
“It’s raining” he said as he covered his head.
“Oh no! My dress is getting wet!” Jonghyun shouted as they all ran home.
“You sound like a real girl” Key giggled.
“Shut up” he murmured. “It was expensive”
They reached home and they made it, just getting a little wet. It started to rain more and thunder. They could see lightning’s hit the ground.
“Ah! I’m scared!” Taemin covered his ears and closed his eyes.
“It’s not dangerous in here. Besides you have us” Onew held his arms around the scared Taemin.
Suddenly the light went off. Everyone screamed and panicked.
“The lights went off, what are we going to do?” Key asked.
“Let’s search for candles or flashlights” Jonghyun said and he and Key started to look for them.
“The whole neighborhood is without power” Minho said.
The phone rang and Jonghyun answered.
“Hello, who is it?”
“Hey guys I need your help!” he recognized the voice. It was Leeteuk. “I’m trapped in the big old mansion with Sungmin and Wookie!”
”Wait, we’ll come. Wait for us” Jonghyun hung up and turned to the other four that stood there. “Guys, we gotta help Teukie”
“What happened?” Taemin asked.
“He, Sungmin and Wookie are trapped in the old mansion”
“The one that’s haunted?” Taemin swallowed.
“I’m afraid so”
They started to go to the big mansion. It was dark outside and there was a full moon up in the velvet sky. It was drizzling and they were still in their costumes. They arrived and stopped outside the house looking at it.
“It’s freaky. It gives me the shivers” Jonghyun said as he fixed his headdress.
“Don’t worry, your prince charming is here my loli girl” Key winked and Jonghyun hit his arm.
“Ha, ha very funny. Well thank god I didn’t wear high heels. It would’ve hurt like hell”
“Can you even walk in it?”
“Well I dunno, anyway let’s go inside”
Everyone went inside and it was very dark, like in a movie. The only light that came was the light from small lamps that were on the walls.
“This is freakin worse than a horror movie” Taemin tugged at Minho’s shirt.
“Let’s split” Key suggested. “It’ll go faster and we all have our phones”
They split up and started their search for Leeteuk, Sungmin and Ryeowook.
Jonghyun opened the doors and behind them was a ballroom. Well it looked like it, there was a stage on the other side of the room and so much space. He tried to turn on the lights but it didn’t work.
“Still a black out” he said to himself.
Onew was in the library and as he looked around he suddenly saw something that looked like a girl wearing a white dress. She went towards the wall then disappeared.
“Oh god tell me I imagined it”
Taemin went inside a room that seemed to be a music room. As he searched for clues or their friends he heard a voice sing. It sounded like a little girl. He felt shivers go down his spine and he felt so cold. He turned but didn’t see anyone. The piano started to play and Taemin got so scared that he ran out screaming.
Jonghyun turned hearing someone scream.
“That sounded like Taemin! AAAH!!!” he shouted.
At this moment he wished he never turned around. There was a girl standing just a few meters in front of him.
“Play with me” she said low.
“What the hell. Does she think I’m a girl or what? Why the hell did Teukie and the rest go to this place anyway?”
“Play with me” the little girl started to move closer as Jonghyun went backward.
“I’m sorry, I can’t play right now. I’m trying to find my hyungs” he answered.
“If you don’t play you’ll pay” she said and disappeared.
“I’m out of this room” he ran out and up the stairs.
Key heard a scream and ran out to find the person. Then someone ran into him and he landed on his back with the person on him.
“What the? Yah!” he pushed away the person who then jumped on him holding around his waist crying. “Taemin? What happened?”
“G-ghost” he cried, burying his face in Key’s shirt.
“Did you see a ghost?”
“No, but the piano started to play and I heard a little girl sing” he sobbed.
Key took out a napkin and gave it to Taemin.
“Here, let’s go search together” he said and stood up. “You can hold my hand” he reached it out and Taemin held it.
Minho looked around on the paintings and armors that were standing along a loooong corridor.
“When does this end?” he thought.
As he walked he heard footsteps behind him. He turned but didn’t see anyone so he kept on walking. The footsteps started again and he turned, yet again there was no one there. He started to run and then he came to the main room where the five were from the beginning when they went inside the house.
“What the?”
Onew rubbed his eyes and started to look around.
“So many weird books” he looked at the titles. “Weird”
As he looked around he started to feel uncomfortable. It felt like someone or something was watching him. He went out of the library and decided to go down the stairs. As he went down the stairs someone was running up the stairs. He bumped into the person and fell.
“Damn, watch it!” Onew shouted.
“You watch it Onew!” it was Jonghyun.
“Why were you running up the stairs?”
“I just felt for some exercise. What do you think? It was a ghost!” he was pale but still so beautiful in the dress.
