I like this one.  I think I would keep it, but give my name and phone number to the librarian and tell them to give it to anyone who reported it missing.

Years ago, I mean YEARS AGO, we found a $20 bill on the ground at Six Flags, and we dutifully turned it in to a security guard.

DUH. It took me years to realize that that was that security guard's happy day :)
