My favorite thing about the opening cermonies is my non-stop running commentary on the nations outfits.  Love=ethnic .  Hate=flight attendant uniforms.

When I see a RSS feed button on the blogs/website I read, I will frequently subscribe.  Just this morning I realized you could subscribe, on many sites, even if there wasn't a button.

I have been computing for 15+ years.  I am such an idiot. 

NOLA friends-- are you guys getting really wet.  It looks like it is passing just by you, it looks like.

Good luck to all my Texas Gulf coast friends.  It doesn't look like it will be too bad "says crossing my fingers".  Houston floods at the drop of a hat, though, so you guys are probably in for a rough day or two.

We went out early.  Took dinner to the Irishman.  Came home and watched Hallmark Channel westerns (God help me).  We can hear the fireworks from here, but the trees are so big we can't see them.
