Back.

I am back from Italy and almost organised again.
We stayed more than two weeks there in the end because the weather was just too fantastic to return back home. 40+C most of the time which is just perfect for me but I have to admit that it was far too hot for Amadeus. He spent most of the time in the hotel room. It was getting cooler in the second ( Read more... )

Amadeus was the king at the beach. So the days I was able to take him with me were just great for him. Another guy asked me if he is famous or something because everyone was so excited to see him around ( ... )

Hey punkin,

I just got home myself last night. Rome was unbelievable. I LOVED it, but I was really hot. What part were you in? We were there and Florence. I will post a proper LJ entry when I've gotten some sleep LOL. I have to go back to work tomorrow. UGH.

London was just as fun as it always is although tbh I was not really in love with Paris - everything I saw was amazing but couldn't really "get into" a feel for the city, if you know what I mean. Switzerland I've been to before, and it was lovely.

I hope you do continue with the writing thing - I have GOT to get back into my novel. Seeing all that stuff in Rome gave me so many King Arthur ideas too - the Forum and the Senate were just two of them :p

*smooch* and I am so glad you had a good time. Have you been to Avebury before? It's near Stonehenge but a much bigger setup and not nearly as many people - the stones surround the whole town.

xxoo

Welcome back home, dear Princess!
And great to hear you such a fabulous holiday. I will have to check your LJ to see a proper post and pictures. I am really curious about that. Rome is just amazing, isn’t it?? We stayed slightly more in the north, between Venice and Rimini. Just sunbathing and swimming, eating and drinking. Nothing else *g*

I hope work started well for you?!

I have not been in Paris yet but I know a lot of people who described the same feeling you had. So as I am not into France at all I will not give it a try.

Oh yes, go back and write! Hard enough to find good fanfiction stuff nowadays…

I will check Avebury, thank you for the suggestion. If possible we will visit on our way from London to Cornwall.

Take care!
Charlie.

I am sorry that I'm so bad in replying to entries and comments *hangsheadinshame* That vacation of yours sounds wonderful. Not the temperatures (I can't handle >28 very well;), but what you write about the hotel and especially that you could really relax and found your muse again :) In 2011 I completely lost my ability to daydream/create my own personal fictions. It was lost for about two years and I was pretty sad and worried about it, but fortunately with some things in my life getting better and with my huge crush on Luke Evans it returned to me. Hope your creativity will stay vivid & joyful ( ... )

Oh I'm so glad you have a lovely holiday! And you're lucky to be going to Cornwall soon. :

As for the Outlander series, I only read the first two books, I think. Then I just kinda lost interest in it.

And it's wonderful news to hear your creativity might be making an appearance again! :)
