I am back from Italy and almost organised again.
We stayed more than two weeks there in the end because the weather was just too fantastic to return back home. 40+C most of the time which is just perfect for me but I have to admit that it was far too hot for Amadeus. He spent most of the time in the hotel room. It was getting cooler in the second

I just got home myself last night. Rome was unbelievable. I LOVED it, but I was really hot. What part were you in? We were there and Florence. I will post a proper LJ entry when I've gotten some sleep LOL. I have to go back to work tomorrow. UGH.
London was just as fun as it always is although tbh I was not really in love with Paris - everything I saw was amazing but couldn't really "get into" a feel for the city, if you know what I mean. Switzerland I've been to before, and it was lovely.
I hope you do continue with the writing thing - I have GOT to get back into my novel. Seeing all that stuff in Rome gave me so many King Arthur ideas too - the Forum and the Senate were just two of them :p
*smooch* and I am so glad you had a good time. Have you been to Avebury before? It's near Stonehenge but a much bigger setup and not nearly as many people - the stones surround the whole town.

And great to hear you such a fabulous holiday. I will have to check your LJ to see a proper post and pictures. I am really curious about that. Rome is just amazing, isn’t it?? We stayed slightly more in the north, between Venice and Rimini. Just sunbathing and swimming, eating and drinking. Nothing else *g*
I hope work started well for you?!
I have not been in Paris yet but I know a lot of people who described the same feeling you had. So as I am not into France at all I will not give it a try.
Oh yes, go back and write! Hard enough to find good fanfiction stuff nowadays…
I will check Avebury, thank you for the suggestion. If possible we will visit on our way from London to Cornwall.
Take care!
Charlie.

As for the Outlander series, I only read the first two books, I think. Then I just kinda lost interest in it.
And it's wonderful news to hear your creativity might be making an appearance again! :)
